Local Roof Repairs
If the problem is limited to one area and the rest of the roof is sound, a repair may be the sensible choice. We'll explain what it would cover and any limitations before you decide.
Newcastle & the North East
If your roof is worn or keeps leaking, we can check whether a repair will be enough. If replacement is the better option, we'll explain why and talk you through the work.

Roof Replacement
If leaks keep returning or large areas of the covering are worn out, it may be time to consider replacement. We look at the roof's condition, including the surrounding details and accessible supports. The age of the house alone won't tell us what needs doing.
What Matters Most
Tell us about your roof, what's prompted you to get in touch and what you'd like to achieve. We can then talk through the work that may be needed.
We look at the covering, flashing, ridges, valleys and roofline, along with access to the building. That helps us explain what needs replacing and why.
Tell us whether we're looking at your house, garage, extension or commercial building. Mention roof windows, chimney flashing and guttering too, so we can discuss any related work in the quote.
If a repair would be suitable, we'll explain it. If the condition makes replacement a better option, we'll tell you why and what the work would involve.
Qualifying new-roof work can carry a written workmanship guarantee of up to 10 years. We'll confirm the term and conditions in your quote.

Have something else you'd like to ask? Tell us about your property and we'll talk it through with you.
No. A leak may come from a small area of covering, flashing or drainage that can be repaired. If the damage is widespread or a repair would be unlikely to last, we'll explain why replacement is worth considering.
Sometimes. The remaining roof needs to be sound, and the join between old and new work must be suitable. We'll explain whether partial replacement makes sense and which areas it would cover.
Tell us the material or colour you have in mind. We'll need to consider the existing construction and any design or approval requirements before confirming whether the change is suitable.
Only if it's included in the agreed quote. Let us know about damaged gutters, fascia boards or drainage problems so we can discuss and price that work alongside the roof.
We'll agree how unexpected findings will be handled before starting. Some damage only becomes visible when the old covering comes off. If extra work is needed, we'll explain the issue and any change to the price or timing before asking you to approve it.
The requirements need checking for your property and the work planned. Building control may be relevant to re-roofing, and changes in appearance or shape may also raise planning questions. Confirm these before going ahead, even if you intend to use a similar covering.
Qualifying new-roof workmanship can carry a written guarantee of up to 10 years. We'll confirm the term, what's covered, any exclusions and maintenance conditions. Product warranties are separate and depend on the system used.
Call Peter or Robert, or use our quote page to send your postcode, roof type, safe photos and a description of the problems. Tell us about previous repairs and any other work you're planning so we can discuss a visit.
