Surface Damage & Open Seams
Splits, punctures and failed joints can sometimes be repaired if the rest of the roof is sound. The repair method will depend on the covering, whether it's felt, EPDM, GRP or another system.
Newcastle & the North East
If your flat roof is leaking or damaged, we can check whether a repair is likely to last. Where it needs replacing, we'll explain the options.

Flat Roof Repairs
A flat-roof leak can come from the covering, a joint, an outlet or the edge around a wall or rooflight. Water can travel before it shows inside. We look at the likely cause and the surrounding roof to see whether a local repair will be enough.
What Happens Next
Tell us where water is appearing, what the roof is made from if you know, and whether the problem started suddenly or has developed over time. We can then narrow down the likely areas that need attention.
Water can travel beneath the covering or along the deck before reaching your ceiling. The mark indoors helps us investigate, but it may not be directly below the fault.
We look beyond the damaged spot to see how the rest of the covering, deck and drainage are holding up. That helps us judge whether the problem is local or part of wider wear.
If one area has failed and the rest is sound, a repair may be enough. If leaks keep returning or the covering and deck are badly worn, we'll explain the case for replacement.
We'll explain which area we're repairing and any work needed around edges, outlets or wall junctions. Your quote will set out what's included.

Have a question about your own roof? Tell us what you've noticed and we'll talk it through with you.
REQUEST A FREE QUOTENo. A patch is only useful if it suits the covering and the surrounding roof is sound. We'll explain what a repair can achieve and whether the condition of the roof makes replacement a better option.
We work with EPDM, GRP and felt roofs. Whether a repair is possible depends on the damage and the condition of your roof. Tell us what it's covered with, if you know, and about any previous repairs or coatings.
A coating won't necessarily solve a leak, particularly if the cause hasn't been found or the deck beneath is damaged. We need to understand the problem and check that any proposed treatment suits the existing roof.
Yes, leaks can start at outlets and wall junctions as well as in the main covering. Tell us where and when water appears, and we'll consider the surrounding edges, connections and raised sections when investigating.
No, please stay off the roof. Send photos from safe positions and describe what you've noticed. We'll discuss access and any fragile areas before arranging inspection or repair work.
We can discuss work on extension roofs and other roofs above occupied rooms. Tell us how the space is used, whether water is coming in and any access restrictions, so we can agree suitable working arrangements.
We'll explain what we've found, what a repair would cover and any limitations, alongside a replacement option where needed. Repeated leaks, widespread wear or deck damage can affect that recommendation.
Call Peter or Robert with your postcode and a description of the leak. We can check availability and discuss what to do next. Please call to confirm a visit; sending the online form doesn't book an emergency appointment.
