New Felt Roofs
For a new felt roof, we plan the deck, slope, outlets and edges together. Getting these details right helps water drain away and keeps the junctions watertight.

Felt Roofing
Felt can suit garages, extensions and other flat roofs. We'll look at the deck, drainage, edges and wall junctions when planning the work, because the covering needs all of them to be in good condition.
Before the New Covering
Tell us what the roof covers and whether you're planning a new roof or dealing with a leak. We'll discuss the construction beneath the felt as well as the finish you can see.
A crack, blister or open joint may be visible, but the deck beneath it could need attention too. We don't want a new covering to hide a problem that still needs putting right.
If water sits on the roof or drains slowly, let us know. We'll consider the roof's slope and outlets as part of the work needed.
The felt needs careful finishing where it meets walls, trims and roof openings. We'll explain any work needed at these points in your quote.
Felt, EPDM and GRP each need the right preparation and detailing. We can talk through which options suit your roof before you decide.

REQUEST A FREE QUOTEYes, we install new felt roofs and replace existing ones. Tell us what the roof covers, whether it's new or existing, and share any plans or safe photos you have.
It may be possible if the damage is limited and the surrounding roof is sound. We'll look at the covering and the deck before explaining whether a repair or replacement would be more sensible.
No. Felt can be used on suitable garages, extensions and commercial flat roofs too. The right system depends on the construction and use of the building.
We'll need to assess the existing covering and deck first. Your quote will explain which layers need removing, what can remain and why that approach suits the roof.
Only if drainage work is included in the quote. A new felt covering won't automatically correct poor falls or blocked outlets, so tell us if water is standing on the roof.
Compare the work beneath and around the covering as well as the material itself. Check whether each quote includes the same deck repairs, drainage, edge details and any insulation. We can explain the differences for your roof.
We'll confirm the product and workmanship guarantees that apply to the system and work agreed. Ask us about the terms before you decide to go ahead.
Send your postcode, what the roof covers, safe photos and a description of any leaks or earlier repairs. Dimensions are helpful if you already know them. Mention rooflights, adjoining walls and access, but don't climb up to take measurements.
