We want you to feel comfortable using emperorroofing.co.uk. This policy explains our website’s cookies, browser storage and external services, including what the banner controls.
Our Jotform enquiry form, Elfsight reviews and Google Maps load automatically on pages where they appear. They do not wait for an analytics choice. Their providers receive connection information and may use their own cookies or storage; the analytics buttons do not switch those services off.
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your enquiry and other personal information.
1. Who We Are and How to Contact Us
We are Emperor Roofing NE Ltd, the company responsible for this website. If you have a question about your cookie choices or information connected with a visit, please get in touch.
2. What Cookies and Browser Storage Do
Cookies are small pieces of information saved by a website in your browser. Some last only for a browsing session; others remain until they expire or you delete them. Similar technologies, including local storage, can remember information without using a cookie.
A service can also receive your IP address and other technical information when your browser connects to it. Blocking a cookie does not necessarily stop that connection. We wait for your permission before loading our Analytics tag. Our form, map and reviews connect to their providers automatically, as explained below.

Rejecting analytics does not hide the form, map or reviews, or prevent their providers from receiving a request. Normal browser settings, JavaScript availability and the providers’ own services can affect whether embedded content displays.
4. Cookies and Browser Storage
The table separates the settings our site controls from storage managed by external providers. Their cookies can vary with the features used, your browser and whether you are signed in to that provider.

Our banner does not control storage inside these embedded services. The former notice’s cookieconsent_status cookie is not treated as permission for our Analytics and accessible copies are removed.
5. How We Use Analytics
If you allow it, Google Analytics helps us understand which pages people use and whether our phone, email and quote links are helpful. It can receive online identifiers, device and browser information, visit times and interactions. An identifier may still be personal information even though it does not include your name.
Our website’s custom events are phone_click, email_click and quote_click. They include the page path and, for our named phone links, whether Peter or Robert was selected. They do not include your enquiry text or uploaded photographs. A click does not prove that a call connected, an email was sent or a quotation was requested successfully.
Our tag is configured to deny advertising storage, advertising user-data use and advertising personalisation, and to disable Google Signals. The initial page address sent by our code excludes query strings and fragments. We do not load the Google Analytics tag before your permission or send denied-consent measurement pings before you choose.
Cookie expiry is separate from Google’s retention of information already collected. Google Analytics has account-level retention controls; these do not all apply to aggregated reports in the same way. Contact us about information relating to your visit or a deletion request. 6. Our Form, Map and Reviews
Jotform: our form loads with the page so you can tell us about your roof straight away. Jotform receives connection information when the form loads and the details or photos you submit. Its own security tools, storage and any form integrations are separate from our Analytics tag. You can call or email us instead.
Google Maps: the map loads automatically and connects your browser to Google. Google may receive device, connection, cookie and account information. Our business address is also available as text.
Elfsight: the live review feed loads automatically and connects to Elfsight. It may use storage to count widget views. Customer quotations written directly into our pages are separate from the live feed.
Choosing Reject leaves all three features available. It does not prevent their connections or mean they cannot use cookies. The provider links in this policy explain their wider processing.
7. What the Banner Controls
Our banner’s Accept and Reject buttons control the website usage cookies used by our Google Analytics tag, G-VXYCYZL6RM. In Cookie settings, this choice is called Allow website usage cookies. Analytics starts off. Scrolling, continuing to browse, closing the banner or reading this policy does not grant permission.
Accept and Reject are equally available. We remember either choice for 180 days on this browser. A new browser, cleared storage, expiry or a relevant change to the notice may mean we ask again.
The form, map and review feed are not included in that switch. Loading a useful page feature does not automatically make all of its cookies strictly necessary. Any non-exempt storage or tracking used by a provider needs its own valid consent arrangement or appropriate configuration; the Analytics banner is not consent for those separate uses.
8. Changing Your Choice
Choose Cookie settings in the footer. Select Reject, or switch off Allow website usage cookies and select Save preferences. You can also enable Analytics there if you change your mind.
If our Analytics tag is already running, withdrawing permission refreshes the page to unload its code. Finish or copy an unsent enquiry first. We disable our tag and remove accessible first-party Analytics cookies; the form, reviews and map load normally again.
Cookies on another provider’s domain may need to be removed using your browser’s site-data settings. Blocking or deleting cookies is not the same as preventing a connection, and it does not erase information already sent. Contact us about existing information or an erasure request.
If your browser blocks local storage, your analytics choice applies to the current page and we may ask again on the next page. Without JavaScript, our Analytics does not run, and script-based forms and reviews may not display. Maps and other page resources can still load. Phone and email details remain available.
9. Overseas Processing and Your Rights
Google, Jotform and Elfsight operate internationally, so their services can involve processing outside the UK, including in the United States. We do not describe them as UK-only. Automatically loaded embeds can make these connections before you make an analytics choice.
Our Privacy Policy explains international processing and how to ask about safeguards relevant to your information. It also explains your rights to access, correction, deletion, restriction and objection where they apply.
10. Questions or Complaints

We will acknowledge a data-protection complaint within 30 days, investigate without undue delay, keep you informed and explain the outcome. You can also raise a concern with the Information Commissioner’s Office or call its helpline on 0303 123 1113.
11. Keeping This Policy Up to Date
This version is dated 29 September 2026. It describes a website with automatically loaded forms, maps and reviews, and a separate opt-in choice for our Google Analytics tag.
We will update this policy when services or purposes change. If you notice our Analytics loading against your choice, please tell us which page you visited so we can investigate.

Will the Form and Reviews Be Available Straight Away?
Yes. Jotform and the Elfsight live review feed load automatically where they appear, without an extra permission panel. The map loads automatically too. Their display still depends on your browser, connection and the provider being available.
What Does Reject Do?
It keeps our Google Analytics tag off. It does not hide or block Jotform, Google Maps or Elfsight, and it does not control their own cookies or storage.
Does Your Analytics Start Before I Decide?
No. Our Google Analytics tag waits until you accept it. Closing the banner, scrolling or continuing to browse does not count as agreement.
Can I Change My Analytics Choice?
Yes. Use Cookie settings in the footer of any page. You can accept or reject Analytics there. Withdrawing permission after it has started refreshes the page.
How Long Will You Remember My Choice?
For 180 days on the same browser, unless you change the choice or remove its stored data. If storage is blocked, we may need to ask again on your next page.
Does Rejecting Analytics Delete My Enquiry?
No. An enquiry you submitted is a separate record. Contact us if you want to ask about it or request deletion. We will explain any information we still need to retain for a lawful reason.

Does the Banner Reject Every Third-Party Cookie?
No. It manages our Google Analytics tag only. Our form, map and live reviews load independently and may use provider-managed cookies. Their privacy information is linked above.
