2. We Check Your Roof's Condition
We consider the covering, flashing, joints, drainage and roofline, allowing for what we can safely access and see. We'll explain any recommended repairs or replacement work.
3. We Discuss Commercial Maintenance
We carry out preventative repairs and maintenance on suitable commercial roofs. Cleaning, moss removal or coatings may be options, depending on the covering and its condition.
4. Agree Access and What the Visit Covers
Give us the main contact, access details and any restrictions at the property. We'll agree what the visit covers, including any areas we can't inspect. If you need a structural survey, that needs arranging separately.

What Is Included in a Roof Inspection?
We'll agree that with you before the visit. Checks may include the covering, flashing, roof junctions, drainage and roofline, depending on access and the inspection method. We'll explain which areas can be inspected and any limitations.
Is This the Same as a Structural Survey?
No. A roofing condition check doesn't automatically include structural advice or an assessment of concealed parts of the building. If you need a structural survey or specialist report, please make that clear so it can be arranged separately.
Can You Inspect a Roof because It Has Started Leaking?
Yes. Tell us where the water appears, when it began and about any previous repairs. We can discuss access and the checks needed to investigate it.
Will I Receive a Written Report?
Please tell us what you need before booking. If you require a written report, photographs or a particular format for an insurer or surveyor, we'll confirm whether we can provide it and any charge in advance.
How Often Should a Roof Be Maintained?
That depends on the covering, its condition, how exposed the roof is and any product or guarantee requirements. We can discuss maintenance suited to your property rather than suggest the same schedule for every roof.
Do You Clean Roofs or Remove Moss?
Yes, we offer roof cleaning, moss removal and coatings where they're suitable. We'll consider the covering and its condition first, as these treatments won't suit every roof or solve every defect.
Can You Coordinate with a Property Manager?
Yes. Give us the authorised contact, access details and any working restrictions. Let us know about approvals or records you need before we arrange the inspection or maintenance work.

We offer free, no-obligation roofing quotes. A separately booked inspection or written report may be a different service, so please confirm what's included and any charge with Peter or Robert before booking.
